28-Day Warranty on IT Assets
All IT equipment sold through PYCO RENEW auctions with a "Working" or "Tested" grade comes with a 28-day warranty from the date of collection or delivery.
1. Warranty Coverage
Our 28-day warranty covers defects in functionality that were not disclosed in the lot description at the time of sale. Coverage applies to:
Hardware Failures
Motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage drives, power supply, and display defects not present at inspection.
Functionality Issues
Ports, connectivity, audio, networking, and other functional components that fail within the warranty period.
Description Discrepancies
Items that do not match the specifications stated in the lot description (e.g., different CPU, less RAM).
Battery Coverage
Laptop batteries that hold less than 50% of original capacity when described as "Good" battery condition.
2. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Items sold "As-Is" or "Parts Only" (as stated in the lot description and grading)
- Cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, or wear (these are covered by cosmetic grading)
- Software issues, operating system problems, or licence-related matters
- Damage caused by the buyer after collection/delivery (physical, liquid, or electrical damage)
- Normal wear and consumable items (keyboard keys, trackpad wear, etc.)
- Third-party modifications or repairs attempted by the buyer
- Items not collected or paid for within the specified timeframe
- Loss or damage during buyer-arranged shipping
3. Claims Process
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Contact Us Within 28 Days
Email warranty@pycorenew.com with your lot reference number, a description of the issue, and photos/video evidence if possible.

Assessment
Our technical team will review your claim and may request additional information or remote diagnostic tests. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

Resolution
If the claim is valid, we will offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund depending on the nature and severity of the issue.

Return (if required)
If a return is needed, we will arrange collection or provide a returns address. Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
4. Returns
For approved warranty returns:
- Items must be returned within 7 working days of claim approval
- Items must be in the same condition as when collected/delivered
- All original accessories and components included in the lot must be returned
- PYCO RENEW will cover return shipping costs for valid warranty claims
- Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned items
For items that were accurately described and graded, buyer's remorse returns are not accepted. Please review lot descriptions and grading standards carefully before bidding.
